Life Circles

These circular works which are all printmaking based, were made over a 10 year period. They are in one way quite eclectic but in another, bear relation to one another through the varied states of human existence that they portray. Going from the dances of pre- birth to the cultural exchange and reflection of the 'Ice Babies'. The etching called 'Cut' portrays the suffering of the individual on the loss of a loved one whereas 'All at Sea' is about the journey through the circle of life.
Made using various techniques including watercolour (scanned) inkjet print, photography, collagraph, etching and monoprint.
